05/17/2018 - Mighty Machine Day!!

June 9th, 2018 @ 3 Francis Street in Carleton Place.

We will be open from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm!

This is a great family event and fun for all!

Every vehicle you can imagine and more will be parked at the daycare for you to explore and gaze at in wonder!!  There is no fee to come and look at all the trucks and vehicles!!

Activities from face painting, BBQ, spray a truck, bake raffle and sale, trike race, and so much more will take place.

Every tooney we collect will go towards our support in helping a child that is fighting cancer.

Below is Nathan's story (a note from his father):

Nathan was diagnosed in March of last year with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. At the beginning he was diagnosed as standard risk but treatment didn't manage to get rid of all the leukaemia blasts, so he got bumped up to a more intensive treatment known as high risk. He's spent over 300 nights in hospital so far. For the last little while he's been allowed to be home. Which has been great but he's suffering from some serious side effects of treatment. His bones have been badly affected, and he suffers regularly with bone pain. There are days he cannot stand and uses a wheelchair to get around. Sleep is also more of a challenge. He use to be a very active little boy, running, jumping and hard to keep up with. Now he can barely walk. He has strict restrictions for fear of his bones breaking. We are hopeful that as he grows his bones will repair themselves. In the mean time we have wheelchair races and take short walks on the good days. With some extra therapy and Nathan's determination we are hoping he'll be back up and running once treatment has finished in the fall of 2019.

We hope to see you there!!  It will take place rain or shine!!
