In the Toddler room I started out, With lots of love there is no doubt,
Ya Sally and Emily they were the best, And I hadn’t even met the rest;

I then moved on to Scott, I was growin’ up, yes lots and lots,
But, I couldn’t have a nap unless, Louisy rubbed my back;

Now I really like to eat, Yummy oatmeal, pears and treats,

Well I moved up to Linda and Cathy, With both of them I was so happy,

Lyse and Penny, many thanks for all you do for our family (and especially our boy). Please excuse my lateness in expressing my gratitude for all the wonderful things you do with and for Avery. As well, don’t mistake my lateness as taking you for granted. You are two very much appreciated and talked about people in our house! Your work at the nursery school extends beyond the 3 hours you spend with Avery physically. Your influence is present when he breaks into a song I know I didn’t teach him, or exhibits a skill I wasn’t even aware he was capable of. In this way, the work you do has an everlasting effect on him and for this I thank you. Your gentle guidance has also shaped our own parenting. Following your careful advice always pays dividends. You should be paid more for your parental counselling! So please accept our sincere thanks for all the careful planning (the crafts are great) and genuine affection you show to Avery. Every child should start out in life with such positive support.

It has been a truly pleasant experience having Emily in this program. There is always so many stimulating activities that help her thrive. Each day she is picked up, she has the biggest smile from always having such a wonderful day. We are so appreciative to be able to have our daughter taken care of by the best staff around. I wanted to say just how much I value the program and staff at the Caldwell daycare location. I have 2 children who attend daycare 5 days a week. The teachers always provide a fun, stimulating program. I’m sure it is difficult to capture a child’s enthusiasm after a day of school. My children are always showing or telling me about fun things they did after school. I find it reassuring to know that my children are well cared for when I can’t be with them. I would like to thank everyone that works with Jade on a daily basis in the Nursery School program. We are amazed by the progress she has made while attending the school. I am grateful that there are people like you that provide these services because without them I am sure that she wouldn’t be progressing as fast as she is. I now that she enjoys going to school because every morning she asks if it is a school day. I think that it’s great there is a Nursery School program like this and I hope that our son will be able to attend when the time comes. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication.

I applaud all of the daycare/before & after staff that are providing such a crucial service for young working families today. They are such hard working, dedicated individuals who are given the daily responsibility of our most precious commodity - our young children. They have the very difficult job to guide and instruct and entertain all of the “very busy & very noisy” little ones in an always professional and respectful manner. It takes special people to work with so many young children every day. As a grandmother who quite often picks up my granddaughter, I have observed this, and having another daughter who is an Early Childhood Educator herself, I wish that they were more monetarily compensated for the important work they provide on a daily basis. Hats off to you all!

I had great concerns about going back to work after my maternity leave but the staff at Albert Duncan made the transition much easier. The Train station has a great crew of people! Lauren always seems so happy to be at the daycare. As Camden has only been going for 2 weeks he is still in the adjustment stage but we have no worries or concerns…we know he will love it just as much as Lauren. We can’t say enough good things about the Carleton Place daycare program - we love it! Mackenzie started attending Arklan in September and she absolutely loves it there! That says it all for us! The staff are amazing as usual and enable us to go to work every day worry-free! It takes special people to do the work you do and we just want to say thank you to Casey and the entire staff at Arklan for being so wonderful.

Jennifer and Sonya provide a very nurturing environment for all of the children at the program. My daughter never wants to leave. They help with homework, provide interesting crafts, and instill a sense of community by teaching the children to help others less fortunate (Christmas Basket Fund). They are doing an excellent job.

I would like to thank all of you for providing such a wonderful place for Sandra to go each day. She is excited to go to daycare every day and looks forward to seeing the teachers and all her friends. Her enthusiasm shows me this is a great place for her.
